2007 Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley

“An impressive discovery for me, Fiftyrow’s 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of fruit from Rutherford’s Morisoli Vineyard and Lewelling Vineyards (one of my favorite under-the-radar Cabernet estates). This pure Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a dense ruby/purple hue in addition to notes of white chocolate, black currants, earth and a Pauillac-like cedarwood note. This is a full-bodied, exuberant effort with good texture, lots of purity, depth and richness as well as terrific overall balance. It should age well for 10-15 or more years. Total production is 440 cases, so it has some availability” Robert Parker, Wine Advocate

2006 Syrah – Spring Mountain

Reminding me of my many trips to the Rhône region, this dense Inky/purple wine shows flavors of black fruits, cassis, licorice, plenty of graphite, , and earth characteristics. This super-exotic, hedonistic wine possesses an incredible level of concentration. It should drink beautifully for 10-12 years.
