The Cabernet Vineyards
Morisoli Vineyard
The Morisoli Vineyard lies in the heart of the Rutherford Appellation, home to the world’s most celebrated Cabernets. Farmed by fourth generation grower Gary Morisoli, this vineyard contains the elusive component of “Rutherford dust” that defines the distinctive Cabernets from this region.
Lewelling Vineyard
The vineyards of the historic Lewelling Estate were established in 1864 near the western foothills in St. Helena by pioneer winegrower John Lewelling. Here, the gravelly loam soil and microclimate combine to produce exceptional Cabernets with rich cherry, currant and berry flavors.
The Syrah Vineyard
Spring Mountain
This vineyard sits 800 feet above the Old Bale Mill, hidden among a grove of trees. Without guidance from someone who had been there before, the vineyard would never be found. Down a dirt road that must be traversed by a four wheel drive vehicle, this tiny plot produces some of the most concentrated syrah available. The combination of being on a hillside and the climate difference from the valley floor gives this fruit a much more French Rhone style then your typical California syrah.
